Tuition costs in the state of Washington have continued to rise to the point where sending a child to a university today is a major financial burden on many. BrooksBooth Youth Development (BBYD) aims to relieve some of the financial strain put upon local families in our communities by awarding scholarships to local high school seniors who will attend a university in the state of Washington.
To be eligible for the BBYD Scholarship, the applicant must:
- have attended a high school in state of Washington,
- be accepted to an accredited university or college in the state of Washington,
- be a high school senior when applying for the scholarship, and
- be attending the accredited university or college in the coming year.
Upon awarding the scholarships, the directors of BBYD will select a scholarship recipient based on a thorough review of each scholarship application and essay questions. Please contact us for information on the scholarship program and/or the scholarship application.
