From the Founders
For change to occur, there must be action. For us, creating BrooksBooth was the action that we felt would provide the most hands on impact to something that we feel strongly about: youth development. We established BrooksBooth to provide a sense of community and create opportunities for the youth around us to succeed. Initially we have decided to focus our organization on the creation of scholarship funds. College tuition costs are rising each and every year, and there are many talented, gifted and deserving students that need a little bit of financial help in order to find the path to success. Our goal is to provide the funds and a touch of guidance to help kids from here in Washington get on that path. Along with the creation of scholarships, some other facets of youth development that BBYD supports are general academics, financial responsibility, health, and athletics/hobbies.

With this mission in mind, and the help of the community that we grew up in, we are well on our way to providing annual scholarships to deserving students in the Puget Sound area.
